However, the meeting with the Spanish Ambassador to the United States, Santiago Cabanas, has become the protagonist of his official tour of the city. Last Wednesday, Doña Letizia greeted the ambassador with a surprising sentence: “Give me your hand like a man”. A moment that has left no one indifferent and in which Felipe’s wife played very naturally. The meeting between the two took place in the context of World Cancer Research Day.

It’s not the first time they’ve coincided, but it’s without a doubt the most remembered to date for the Queen’s curious greeting.
