In the last 12 months, countless videos of voice coaches and YouTubers reacting to Farnsey’s voice have gone viral on the internet.

‘This is very good! Shout out to all Australians because you are all talented,” Singer Reactions exclaimed in a video last year.
“This guy can sing. That’s great,” he continued. “One of the best singers I’ve ever heard.”
Singer Responses also saw a duet between Farnsey and Jimmy Barnes from When Something Is Wrong With My Baby, calling them “the two most emotional white men I’ve ever heard in my life”.
“These are the best singers I’ve ever heard. These are some of the greatest male singers,” he exclaimed.

Rob Squad’s reactions were equally enthusiastic, and YouTuber Jay burst into tears with a live performance of Farnsey’s Help with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
“He can hold those notes, he can moan, his voice is amazing,” said Amber, Jay’s wife.
British vocal coach Rebecca Vocal Athlete said the live performance of You’re the Voice left her “shaking”.
“There’s so much power and range in her voice,” she said. “I think he’s a big legend in Australia.

On Tuesday morning, word came that Farnham had been diagnosed with cancer and was due for surgery a few hours later.
The family of the legendary pop singer released a statement announcing the diagnosis, but it is clear that surgeons are confident that surgery to remove a cancerous tumor will be successful.
