Updated to the latest: In 2021 a lot of TV, movies and music were notable, but 2022 doesn’t offer much room to celebrate.
Many awards events have been canceled, moved or changed due to the fact that New York and Los Angeles destroyed Covid daily records due to Omicron.
The winter months were tough for red carpet and ballroom events where crowds gathered in tight spaces. Once again, Covid prevention measures are becoming more sophisticated and many organizations have contingency plans and for many, 2022 is like breaking a glass in an emergency.
