Lauren Laverne kicked off BBC radio coverage of the Glastonbury Festival.

The BBC Radio 6 DJ has been broadcasting live from Worthy Farm since Wednesday and will continue his coverage over the weekend as the performers begin to take to the stage.

It will bring spectators all the highlights of the festival and reach this year’s artists, including headliners Billie Eilish, Paul McCartney and Kendrick Lamar.

Tomorrow (25 June) it will be live on BBC 6 from the festival site and will be joined by guests such as Fatboy Slim and Metronomy.

Lauren is known for her work as a BBC Radio DJ. She has hosted the popular BBC Radio 4 Desert Island Discs program since 2018 and is currently hosting The One Show alongside Jermaine Jenas.

But her musical career began long before her radio career, when at 16 she became the lead singer of the Britpop group Kenickie.

In her love life, Lauren has had similar success to her long career, with a nearly 20-year relationship with her husband.

Here’s what we know about the radio host’s love life and dating history.

Who is Lauren Laverne married to?

Lauren Laverne is married to DJ and TV producer Graeme Fisher.

Lauren and Graeme married in 2005 and live together in London.

In 2007 they welcomed their first child, Fergus James Fisher, and in 2010 they had their second child, Mach Fisher.

In an interview with The Guardian, Lauren revealed that her husband quit his job as a TV producer to become their children’s primary guardian.

She said: “My husband has gone from his job of making TV shows to being the main caregiver for our children.

“He has a fantastic relationship with them, we both get into it and to be honest, it’s a little complicated.”

He also spoke to Red Magazine about the fact that there are no secrets in their 20-year relationship, saying, “I think we’re very lucky and I’m so happy we’re happy and we’ve always felt.

“I’m not going to sit here and spit out specks of wisdom, because there may be people who will read this during a divorce thinking, ‘Lauren, shut up.’

“We’ve been together for a long time and we get along very well, but that’s not necessarily everyone’s goal.”

Who else has Lauren Laverne dated?

Malcolm Middleton performs in support of the Mogwai on prime time of the Summer Series at Somerset House on July 12, 2007.

Lauren has been with her husband for 20 years and hasn’t said who she’d dated before, but it’s been reported that she had some relationships before settling down with Graeme.

While part of the band Kenickie, he briefly dated music journalist Taylor Parks, who wrote for the music weekly Melody Maker from 1993 to 1998.

After her split from Parks, Lauren dated Malcolm Middleton, who was the lead guitarist of the band Arab Strap.
