EastEnders actor Max Bowden was expecting a baby from ex-partner Roisin Buckle, but the star reportedly ignited a spark with co-star Shona McGarty.
EastEnders star Max Bowden reportedly left his pregnant ex feeling “heartbroken” after starting a relationship with his co-star.
Max, who plays Ben Mitchell on the BBC soap opera, has become “inseparable” from his co-star Shona McGarty, who plays Whitney Carter on the soap opera.
It comes after Max’s pregnant ex-lover Roisin Buckle revealed last month that the couple are expecting a baby.
Max is said to have split from Insurance Director Roisin earlier this year, but he is “thrilled” to be a father.
Roisin admitted she had “a rough few weeks” when she took to social media with snapshots of her baby bump.
Now Roisin feels “humiliated and disrespected,” according to The Sun.
A source told the publication: “It was terrible for Roisin, she feels humiliated and not respected. She is expecting a baby and, although she is a strong woman, she feels very disappointed.”
“He didn’t expect Max to move that fast. She thought they were on hiatus, taking time out of their relationship to sort out their differences. “
“Having to see him and Shona together was heartbreaking.
“When he was photographed leaving Shona’s house, people asked him what was going on, his colleagues asked him if he agreed with everything, which he found incredibly embarrassing.”
The source added that Roisin has always been a “private person” and now feels “at the center of a real EastEnders storyline”.
There follows reports that Max and Shona have become “inseparable”, are “crazy about each other” and are spending a lot of quality time together.
The two were also seen holding hands.
Max and Roisin went public with their relationship last October, after meeting at the pub over the summer.
Roisin has been silent about her relationship with Max, but in May she created an Instagram account dedicated to her journey as a single mother, called @one_mum_and_a_baby.
She said: “Now I am a very excited single mom-to-be, but the future is very unknown to me, so I would like to document my journey.”
Since then, she has kept her followers updated with photos of her pregnancy and insists that she is “very excited” to meet her little one.
She wrote: “Less than three months ago I’m so excited to meet him. God, how can you love someone you’ve never met so much?
