The show is based on a nonfiction novel of the same name written by Lisa Taddeo. The proposition focuses on three American women who face setbacks for women’s desires, both private and public, leading to life-changing choices.
Taddeo researched and wrote the book for a total of about ten years. Shailene will play Gia, a writer who convinces three women to tell their stories.

The news of the sudden split in February was confirmed by a source in Noi Weekly.
