The “The Paper” series, whose action takes place in the universe of the “office”, has not yet been released, but has already become one of the most discussed projects of autumn – and not in vain.
On the eve of the premiere, Peacock immediately expanded the spin-off for the second season. This decision was expressed by the most important roles of Domnal Glison and Sabrina Impaccate in the Air “Today Show”, which means that the makers have many plans, and they are sure of success.
The expansion became possible thanks to a powerful excitement around the series: the first answers in the industry, from journalists and colleagues, were so positive that NBCUIVERSAL decided to take a daring step – to give the green light for the second season, even before the start of the first.
Greg Daniels, the co -author of the original “office” and the new show grant of the “newspaper”, is already actively working on ideas to continue with Michael Koman (he is also a co -author and executive producer).
“We absolutely have ideas, we discuss future stories for the second season, and it will be very interesting to see how the public will respond. Within the company and among friends, the reviews are excellent, but the opinion of a large fan audience of the office is always a mystery,” Daniels shared.

What is the “newspaper”:
The main character is Sampson Ned (Glison Domnal), a former journalist, now a successful seller in the Enervate giant toilet paper. He is suddenly appointed editor-in-chief of the small newspaper Toledo Truth counter in Ohio. Problem: of the journalists who are one or two real pros. An idealist makes big plans and builds up big plans, but the task to take off the newspaper is almost impossible. All his attempts to save the publication are recorded by an acquaintance of the ‘office’, a team of documentaries – the same that for years the Scranton branch of the Dunder Mifflin shot down.
All 10 episodes of the first season immediately appeared on Peacock 4 September to view the marathon. The decision to explain the season was literally made literally at the last minute – according to the example of the “office”, which has long been one of the most “drunk” streaming comedies.
