“Boss-Milky 3”: the release date of exit in question because of the scandal around Alek Baldwin

The plans for the continuation of the popular animation -franchise Dreamworks were under a big question. The third part of the “Boss-Milky” was spoken a few years ago, but since then the project seemed to have disappeared from the radar. It has now become clear that the reason was the reputation problems of the most important ‘voice’ of the cartoon, Alec Baldwin.

• Initially, the “Boss-Millet 3” was planned for release in 2025.
• According to Baldwin, the negotiations were held before 2024.
• That version of the third part has already been canceled and in the coming years the release of the new film is unlikely.

Why the project got stuck

In October 2021, on the set of a random shot “(Rust) There was a tragedy: the Galina Khatchins operator was deadly injured from the weapon in Baldwin’s hands. A long investigation and lawsuits have seriously affected the career of the actor.

By the summer of 2024, the charges against Baldwin were removed from the unintended murder and the lawsuit of the Khatchins family over the defamation. However, Hollywood is not in a hurry to call the actor back to large projects. Baldwin himself admitted that he was diagnosed with PTSR after the tragedy.

In addition to the scandal around Alek Baldwin, the financial result of the previous film could influence the fate of the third part. If the first “Boss-Millet” has become a hit, the sequel turned out to be much less successful:

• “Boss -Milky 2” (2021) -A budget of $ 82 million, costs 147 million.

For an animated blockbuster, such indicators of the second part honestly see weak. In view of these figures, it can be assumed that Dreamworks is not in a hurry to invest in continuation, for fear of repeating the cash register – especially against the background of the reputation crisis of the most important actor of voice acting.

Baldwin mentioned the third part of the cartoon even before the closure of the case – then it was about the release in 2025. According to fans and participants in discussions in thematic communities, the project was canceled and if the continuation still appears, then not quickly and in a changed form.

Fans’ reaction was ambiguous. Some regret freezing the franchise:

“I hope we still get the third film! The first two were great,” the audience writes.

Others are sure that history has exhausted itself:

“Thank good that they don’t make the third film. It is necessary to cancel it forever.”

So far, DreamWorks have not made any official statements about the fate of the Boss-Ferrier 3. But in the current situation it is absolutely not necessary to talk about an ambulance.
