Reddit has already appeared with direct accusations against the screenwriters:
“Why have Vincess and Eugene never had interaction? They were the best friends in the first season. The screenwriter just forgot friendship?” – writes one of the users.
The fans remembered that Wenzen Eugene previously visited in the hospital – and waited for a mirror scene where he would support her.
There is also a fan theory in which the disappearance of this friendly line is explained: Wenzen could deliberately stay away due to the fault of the first season that the investigation led to the fact that Eugene ended up in a coma. At the same time, the plot of the second season focuses on the threat for Enid, and Eugene itself, according to the public, does not like to get involved in new dangers.
However, most comments are crucial. Fans believe that Eugene “got worse”: he became rougher, especially in scenes with Pagli, and lost his kindness that he stood out earlier. One of the users noticed:
“The season is longer and the relationship between the heroes looks much empty.”
Many spectators demand that in the second part of the season the screenwriters return the joint scenes of the Wenes and Eugene, and some suggest that Pugley is in it “so that the atmosphere of the first season is felt again.”
The first part of the second season of the “Wens” was released on August 6, 2025. The remaining four episodes – the last chapter – go to Netflix September 3, 2025.
