After almost twenty years, a cult comedy about the world of High Fashion returns.
The second part of the “The Devil Wears Prada” is not only in development – the film has the date of the premiere, the director and, more importantly, almost the very original cast. And Anne Hathaway even shared the first photo in the image of Andy Sax – there were no unnecessary comments.
In a photo published by Hathaway on social networks, she is again in a business style – a striped suit, modest make -up. The signature is laconic: “Andy Sachs 2025 #DWP2”
The premiere of 2 parts “The Devil Wears Prada” is planned May 1, 2026.

The cast was supplemented with Kenneth Bran – in which scenes he will appear until he is revealed. Bran is known as the director and actor, and his filmography includes “Murder in the Eastern Express”, “Hamlet” and “A lot of noise from nothing”.
David Frankiel, who made the first film in 2006, comes again the director. The script is written by Alin Brush McKenna, who also worked on the original.
The continuation plot is based on the book Loren Weissberger “Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns” (“Revenge Dears Prada: The Devil Returns”). The novel was released in 2013 and continues the story ten years after the events of the first part. Andy Sax and Emily Charlton (Blunt’s character) are launching their own Elite Magazine about wedding fashion. By the way, in 2018 Weissberger released another novel – “When Life Gives You Lululemons”, already about Emily, who changed her profession and became an image maker in Hollywood.
The first film was released in 2006 and collected:

The plot of the second film is not officially revealed, but Deadline reports that this time Miranda Pristley is confronted with a crisis of printed media-tenslotte, almost twenty years has passed and Gloss no longer ruled.
