We are talking about the final of the 4th seasons, where Padaleki and Jensen Ackles (in the role of Dean) treat the interaction with a demons called Ruby. The problem is that Ruby is played by Geneviev Padaleki -an actress and partly -time -woman Jared and mother of three children. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmelu, the actor himself admitted that he would never show this series to children.
And he added with irony: “Dad and Uncle Jensen kill mother. Enjoy watching.”
The scene is really difficult to call it suitable for family evening. According to the plot, Ruby Sam lures in a fall, she manipulates to open the gates of hell and eventually turns out to be unnecessary. Kinematographic, dramatic, but when the viewer knows that on the screen is a mother who kills daddy with a knife, the effect is slightly different. Even if it’s all to save the world.
It is curious that Ruby will return later – but already in the 15th season, where Genevieve Haar plays in a more “soft” version. No dead, blood and knives are just a scene in the space between worlds, where Castiel tries in vain to agree with the demon. Such a scene is Padaleki, according to him, ready to show children without fear.
But the series of season 4, as he himself said, “Don’t look, not even when they will be thirty.”
