Critics hit “Ice Drive 2: Retribution” – but Liam Nison continues to perform in mediocre cinema

Liam Neeson is back to the wheel and again in the action film – this time in the second part of the uninterrupted franchise “Ice Drive”. With critics, the sequel made no friends at all – and this is still said mildly.

So far, aggregators such as Rotten Tomatoes have not established an official assessment, but now it is clear: the second “Ice Drive” inherited from the first ridiculous name and indifference to the public. And even Nison, usually gloomy and reliable, does not save.

Critics hit “Ice Drive 2: Retribution” – but Liam Nison continues to perform in mediocre cinema

This is what critics say:

  • M.N .n. Miller (Fandomwire)): 2 out of 10. “Is this a kind of long -term joke? Chantage? Or is Liam just a fan of professional masochism? The film is a shame to a disaster. A frightening stupid and meaningless film.”
  • Robert Coizer (Flicker Myth)): “In two hours the film leaves no impression. Everything is boring and pointless.”
  • Frank Shek Hollywood Reporter)): “This tape will be forgotten faster than his name will disappear from the head. Absolutely standard, passing action film.”
  • NYC Film Guru: “Mediocre, slow, robbed of at least a few sparks of the film category B.”

Admittedly, a slightly friendlier voice was found:

  • Brian Orondorf (Blu-Ray.com)): “Yes, Nysison is already working at the steering machine, but if you are ready for a primitive action with a raid through waste, then this is pretty watcables. A simple action film with a conventional set of tricks.”

The film continues the history of 2021 – then the first “Ice Drive” went to Netflix and collected a modest approval of 43%. In the future, the hero of the Nison, the trucker Mike McCann, at the foot of Everest, protects tourists against mercenaries and parallel saves a village of death. The director was again Jonathan Hensley (“Punisher”, “Strong Nut 3”), in Rolen – Fan Binbin, Marcus Thomas and, of course, Liam Nison himself.

In short: Liam fights again, there are no ice roads again and critics are asked again to stop this shame.
