Morgan Freeman called this series “Masterpiece” – but in Russia no one saw it completely

The actor himself hides that in recent years he does not only go to a lot of passing films because of the reimbursements. Sometimes this can be seen with the naked eye. But when he suddenly praises a few projects and he calls him a “masterpiece”-it becomes interesting here.

Especially when we are not talking about “drain”, “soprano clan” or another obvious hit, but about the Greek series that is completely unknown in Russia, which does not even have any reviews in Kinopoisk. We are talking about the Maestro in Blue Project, which Netflix reached in 2023, but almost unnoticed remained outside of Greece. Until Freeman was reminded of his existence in his social networks.

The plot of the series, to say the least, is atypical: the former musician comes to the island of Paxos to breathe new life into the local music festival, but suddenly appears to be drawn into a criminal story with the murder. Three seasons, Greek language, room presentation – not at all that the world stars of their audience in hundreds of millions of subscribers usually advise.

Nevertheless, Freeman did not just praise the “Maestro”.

He called the series “Masterpiece”, said he was “really special” and asked him not to “miss” the third season, which was released in December 2024.

Moreover, the actor personally flew to Paxos in the summer of 2025, where he was photographed together with the author and performer of the lead role of Christopher Papakaliatis.

And it turns out: the star of the first magnitude watches a small well -known Greek series, flies in the village, meets the Creator and the rest of the planet is confused that it was in general.
