The sequel “Lilo and Stich” is already developing – the first film collected 900 million

The announcement was timed until the unofficial “Stich Day” – 26 June (the numbers 6/26 will be sent to the number of experiment 626). In addition to the fact of the development of the follow -up, there is nothing left: there are no details about the plot, the cast or the film crew.

The most important question now is – whether the sequel will alleviate one of the old animated stories or go in his own way. In the original series of cartoons there were two direct continues: “New Adventures of Stitch” (2003) and “Lilo and Stich 2: The Big Problem of Stitch” (2005). Both immediately went out on the video and previously looked like the extensive series of the animation series. In the second film, Styich began to appear in the program and Lilo and her family tried to bring him back to a normal life. The first introduced the audience in other genetic experiments, including a villain called Dr. Jacques von Khomyxville.

It is still unclear which of these plot lines can be in the basis of the live effect. Some suggest that Disney can easily invent a completely new story.

The issue of the return of the director also remains open. The first part was shot by Dean Fleisher Camp, the author of the cartoon “Marseille, a shell in the boots”, but his participation in the continuation has not yet been confirmed. Despite the success of the money, the project caused a ambiguous reaction from some fans: there were claims on the casting, on the redesign of the characters and how they changed the final, Nani left for studying in San Diego, which was not in the original.

The date of the premiere has not yet been announced. But taking into account the fact that the original is still going to the cinema, it probably doesn’t have to wait long.
