Marvel has not even shown a “Fantastic Four” and the sequel is already developing. No one has officially announced this, but everything indicates that the continuation is not only discussed – it is already in the process.
Atentive viewers noted that Disney has suddenly reserved a date for the new Marvel film -December 15, 2028. This will be the fourth Marvel film strip in 2028, which looks strange against the background of recent statements through the head of Disney Bob Aiger. In the past year he repeated that Marvel must “slow down” and concentrate on quality, not on quantity.
“We went too far,” Aiger admitted during a meeting with investors. – “Now Marvel will shoot less, but better.” And after a few months – four releases per year? Something doesn’t come together.
But if we take into account that the “first steps” are not only a restart, but in fact a new chapter of the entire franchise, then everything makes sense. Marvel is not the first time to book the data for the follow -up to the official announcement. So, probably in December, Slot is just below the second part of the ‘Fantastic Four’.
The promotion of the new “Fantastic Four” will unfold in the retro-futuristic version of the sixties, and the main roles will be played by Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Kuinn and Ebon Moss-Bakrak. The director is Matt Shakman. They not only promise cosmic adventures, but also the “emotional depth”, which Marvel clearly lacked after the final of the Saga about the Tanos.
It is also interesting that the “Fantastic Four”, together with future “X -Men” will be the basis of the new Marvel era, when the Multi -Size finally retires. The last major crossover of this era should be the blockbuster “Secret Wars”, and then – the emphasis on the characters inherited from the Fox Studio.
“Fantastic Four: The First Steps” will be released on July 25, 2025. And based on how the studio is in a hurry, they believe in success in advance.
