Project leaders suddenly changed the fate of the third season.
Disturbing rumors about the continuation of the series “Raised by Wolves” were confirmed.
Earlier, one of the actors of the project, Abubakar Salim, addressed the fans with important news. He said that “Raised by Wolves” could be canceled after the second season. The artist asked the audience to show how important the series is to them.
But apparently the creators of the project have decided otherwise and are not going to release the third season. The closing of Raised by Wolves comes at a time when WarnerMedia, the parent company of HBO Max, is undergoing many changes. The studios were sold to AT&T and merged with Discovery to form Warner Bros. discovery.
Following the deal, studio management decided to leave CNN+ streamers and stop producing new series based on TNT and TBS scripts (namely Raised by Wolves previously aired on TNT), Variety reports.
The series premiered on HBO in 2020. At the center of the plot are two androids who find themselves on a desolate planet and decide to establish a human colony on it. Ridley Scott was one of the show’s producers and directors.
