“Cheap with cheap actors”: Season 2 of “The Squid Game” angered fans before release

One of the most popular series in history is returning for a second season, but former ‘Squid Game’ fans are already starting to get angry with Netflix producers and series creator Hwang Dong-hyuk.

Last week, the streaming platform released the first teaser for The Squid Game season 2, which showed viewers new testbeds and the first season’s protagonist, Song Ki-hoon.

Netflix executives expected fans to be thrilled with the release of the first teaser. However, the audience behaved very differently: people started insulting the makers of ‘The Squid Game’ and called the second season ‘cheap with cheap actors and a cheap script’.

This reaction from former fans may surprise some viewers, but the Squid Game haters have an excuse. They waited three long years for the second season and were incredibly disappointed when the teaser showed them footage that looked very similar to the first season.

Fans expected something unrealistic, new twists that would justify the long wait of three years. It is no wonder that their reaction was so negative.

“I should probably go back and rewatch the first season because I’ve forgotten the plot of this entire show, down to the characters’ names.” – one fan noted.

Of course, the negativity in the comments below the season 2 teaser shouldn’t be taken too seriously – fans are just tired of waiting. There’s no doubt that when season 2 hits Netflix on December 26, haters will be the first to rush to watch it.
