The fourth season of the popular anime “Demon Slayer” ended just a few months ago. And fans of the story of Tanjiro Kamado, who tries to save his sister from a demonic curse, already want to know how the series ends.

The anime’s fifth season will release in 2025, but thanks to the original manga the series is based on, fans may already know the ending of Demon Slayer.

The final part of the manga was released in May 2020 and the ending of the long story shocked readers.

In the final chapters of the manga, Tanjiro finally got a grip on the main villain of the story, Muzan Kibutsuji. The young hero fought bravely against the all-powerful demon. And to defeat Muzan, he still had to give up his humanity.

Tandiziro killed Muzan, but immediately reincarnated into a demon himself and lost control of his emotions. The demon Thandiziro began destroying everything around him, and the deformed Muzan tried to convince him to give up his humanity forever.

Fortunately, Tanjiro’s friends were able to convince him to become human again, and Muzan was banished from the human world forever.

The heroes of “The Blade that Cleaves Demons” have come a long way and only four main characters survive to the end of the story: Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Nezuko.

The manga ends with an unexpected epilogue, in which readers are introduced to the distant descendants of the main characters, who already live in modern Japan. Mangaka Koyoharu Gotoge found the perfect way to end the story beloved by millions.
