Incredibly all-star cast.
With the exception of Deadpool and Wolverine, all recent Marvel movies have disappointed fans. It seems like Kevin Feige simply forgot how to make fun blockbusters and started making soulless action movies that have nothing in common with classic MCU projects.
Luckily, in 2024, fans can indulge themselves by experimenting with iconic Marvel characters.
Recently, YouTuber stryder HD released a version of the Avengers movie trailer if the blockbuster had been released in the 90s. The trailer was created using a neural network and fans were amazed at how accurately the actors were selected to play the roles of Marvel heroes and villains.
Here are the ’90s actors the neural network saw as MCU characters:
- Morgan Freeman-Nick Fury
- Tom Cruise-Iron Man
- Brad Pitt – Captain America
- Thor-Dolph Lundgren
- Spider-Man-Leonardo DiCaprio
- Johnny Depp-Doctor Strange
- Denzel Washington – Black Panther
- Ben Stiller – Ant-Man
- Angelina Jolie – Black Widow
- Jim Carrey-Loki
- David Duchovny-Bruce Banner
- Kevin Costner-Hawkeye
- David Bowie – Vision
Surprisingly, most of the “new” heroes in this trailer fit the roles of MCU characters much better than the “real” Marvel movie stars.
If Marvel comics had been popular with Hollywood producers in the ’90s, fans would have been treated to one of the most star-studded films in history.
After a trailer like this, even news of Robert Downey Jr. returning to the MCU as Doctor Doom doesn’t seem that shocking, right?
