Anastasia Zavorotnyuk managed to star in 37 TV series and films during her career, but only one of them never made it to cinemas or even television screens. Today the Russians will find out what the actress looked like on the set of the film “Thriller Family”.
Real archive footage spread across the Internet thanks to one of the participants of the family comedy, Stanislav Sadalsky. The controversial actor and social gossip also shared details of the work on ‘Family’, making it clear that all members of the film crew were confident that the release would happen.
“We are left with an unfinished picture, a friendly and funny fairy tale for children and adults. A comedy about a terrier named Thriller, who swallowed a miraculous capsule and gained the ability to read human minds. We tried very hard to keep up, the little actors worked in the same way as the adults,” the artist recalls on Telegram.
Most of the film was shot, with only half an hour missing, but work stalled at one point for several years. This break turned out to be fatal: the child actors had grown up too much, like the retired terrier, and by that time Zavorotnyuk himself was already crippled by an oncological diagnosis.
At the same time, the same Sadalsky assured the audience at the end of 2021 that the editorial staff managed to perform a real miracle, and the last film in chronology with the participation of the honored artist of Russia will still be shown in cinemas, but in 18 months it will be process just got off the ground and didn’t get moving.
“Animation came to the rescue, and anything left unfinished was completed by the animator wizards. So get ready, soon you will see a wonderful New Year’s fairy tale for children and adults, directed by Vladimir Ustyugov,” the filmmaker shared with a loud announcement, which turned out to be a dud.
