Drama, drama and more drama.
Turkish filmmakers wouldn’t be themselves if they didn’t surprise viewers with new stories full of mysteries, unexpected twists and intense passions. This year was no exception, so fans of emotional dramas have 10 new films available to watch now:

“The Tale of Ashes” clearly shows what awaited the simpleton after her marriage to the prince. Marriage to the heir of an influential family and moving to a luxurious mansion turned out to be unexpected consequences for the main character – it was these intrigues that attracted the first viewers to the screen. The series has not yet gathered a large fan base, so everyone will have to form their own opinion about it.
“Windy Hill” is another variant of “Romeo and Juliet”, the only drawback of which is considered to be the habit of the Turkish creators of dragging out the plot. Viewers consider the charming actors, the absence of violent scenes and the exciting love story of the completely different Zeynep and Khalil as exhaustive reasons to get acquainted with this series.
A plot element that appears much less often in Turkish works is the genetic makeup of the main character. In “Rock, Paper, Scissors” we talk about a character with hyperthymesia – the highest autobiographical memory. Umut uses this gift in the fight against the mafia and the rotten justice system. One of the advantages of the series was the cast of stars that most Russians know from such hits as “The Magnificent Century”, “Make Me Believe”, etc.
