Irwin Winker talks ‘Rocky’ continuation with ‘Creed’ series and looks back at 60 years of filmmaking – behind the lens

Irwin Winkler’s films have been nominated for 52 Oscars, including five for best film. Winkler currently enters the racetrack on behalf of the racetrack Creed III, the third entry in the expansion of the Rocky franchise and the first to be directed by lead actor Michael B. Jordan. Winkler also wrote an aptly titled autobiography A Life in Films: Stories from 50 Years of Hollywood (Except now there are actually 60).
