RESISTANT He met the love of his life five years ago Caleigh Ryan. The couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary together last October and it’s clear they are head over heels in love. From the proposal at The Lyric in Mississippi to the wedding, the musician, whose full name is Michael Wilson Hardy and his wife are so in love with each other.
Caleigh will no doubt support HARDY as he stars as part of CBS. New Year’s Eve live: Nashville’s big party Sunday 31 December. HARDY will take the stage alongside other country stars such as Lainey Wilson, Trace Adkins, AND Morgan Wallen, with whom he collaborated on some occasions.

How long have HARDY and Caleigh been together?
The couple met in 2017 on social media when HARDY slid into Caleigh’s DMs. They officially started their love story in 2018. During an interview with PEOPLEThe “Wait in the Truck” singer described how he and Caleigh met.
“We just started talking about San Diego and how it’s going to go to Ole Miss and my family’s state of Mississippi,” he said. “We stayed in touch until I performed a show near her school and said I would like to meet her there.”
Sparks immediately flew for the lovebirds and HARDY was delighted. After meeting, they spent more time together until they finally decided to give love a chance. Caleigh said they realized they were soulmates after meeting for the first time.
“After we met, there was really no one else,” Caleigh explained. “We never entertained anyone else. It was so easy.” HARDY remarked that “I loved her after the third time we hung out. It was the most real thing she had ever experienced. “I actually told her I loved her at Stagecoach, in between to the crowd.”

When did HARDY and Caleigh get married?
After dating for about four years, HARDY and Caleigh got married in Nashville in October 2021. The couple opened up about PEOPLE in that moment, right after exchanging wedding vows, noting that before walking down the aisle in her wedding dress, she and HARDY had seen each other for the first time.
“I know that if I were in front of a huge crowd, I would do everything I could not to cry. And I was like, ‘No, forget about it,'” Caleigh said, though they both confirmed that HARDY shed a few tears at the altar.
The singer-songwriter also noted that they chose to write their vows “and say them privately” because they wanted the official ceremony to last “about 30 seconds.”
“We just want a big party for everyone,” HARDY explained. “I’m trying to avoid a total meltdown in front of everyone, and I don’t think I’ll be able to keep my vows at the altar, and she’s the same way. The votes will be for us. It doesn’t have to be this way for everyone else.”
HARDY and Caleigh have children?
The spouses currently have no children. A month after he and Caleigh got married, he said HARDY Flavor of the country that he was eager to become a father when his wife became one.
“We’re not trying yet, but hopefully it will happen soon,” she said of having children. “Because I’m ready to let loose when she is.”
