Megan Gale has revealed she is open to a return to modelling, almost 16 years after retiring from the industry.
Speaking to Stellar magazine, the Australian supermodel, 48, said she thoroughly enjoyed her one-off return to the catwalk to mark David Jones’ 185th birthday in March.
“It felt like coming home, walking down the runway and seeing people happy to see me. Would I do it again? “Never say never,” she began.
“I’ve always loved modeling on the catwalk, I miss it, but I won’t just put myself out there. It has to make sense.”
Megan’s appearance on the David Jones runway comes 22 years after she became their brand ambassador in 2001.

The Perth-born star also revealed that she was grateful to have worked in such a cutthroat industry for so long.
“I wanted to work as much as possible, have children later and maybe semi-retire.” “This industry is fickle and you never know when it will go away.”
She added that meeting her partner Shaun Hampson and having a family kept her grounded throughout her career.

‘[Sean is] very down to earth and always keep things very real. He makes me laugh a lot. “We still have fun after all these years.”
It comes after Megan previously told Body and Soul magazine that she now wears minimal make-up and “doesn’t put too much pressure on my body when I work out.”
“Beauty doesn’t have to be so overwhelming – less really is more in my eyes,” she told the publication.

The supermodel opened and closed the show for David Jones’ autumn/winter collection at the Melbourne flagship store in March.
Megan was the face of the luxury department store from 2001 to 2014.
Since stepping out of the limelight, she has focused on her family life with her partner Shaun Hampson.
Megan and Shaun, who live together in Melbourne, met in 2011, got engaged in 2017 and share daughter Rosie and son River.
