On Wednesday’s episode of The Kyle and Jackie O Show, Jackie “O” Henderson opened up about a drug-related incident from her past when the team discussed embarrassment while using painkillers and sleeping pills.
“I was in my 20s and living in an apartment… I had these Stilnox sleeping pills and it said, ‘Whatever you do, don’t take it with alcohol.’ Well, I did,” the 48-year-old said before laughing to herself.
“I had a couple of reds and a Stilnox and I don’t know what happened, I just went to sleep and everything was fine… then I woke up in the middle of the night and was like, ‘I’m going to bake muffins.’ ‘.’
Jackie then said she was “obviously not excited” as she whipped up the muffin mix and put it in the oven to bake before falling back asleep in the living room.
“The next thing I knew there were firefighters all around me and the whole house was smoking. They broke down the door and woke up all the neighbors in the apartment complex,” Jackie tells as the rest of the studio bursts into laughter.

It comes just a day after Jackie’s co-presenter Kyle Sandilands sensationally walked out of the studio after just 11 minutes on air.
The 52-year-old radio star left the studio angry after clashing with co-presenter Jackie while talking live about Covid-19.
The row began when Kyle announced that NSW Premier Chris Minns had canceled his studio appearance after testing positive for the virus.
Jackie admitted to mixing sleeping pills with alcohol, causing her apartment to catch fire after she hilariously tried to bake muffins in the middle of the night.
Kyle became annoyed when Jackie downplayed the seriousness of Covid, describing it as “just like the flu”.
He told Jackie that she would probably still self-isolate if she had the virus, as she had been extremely careful in the past, prompting Jackie to fire back: “I’m allowed to change my mind.”
Kyle then argued that she needed some ‘consistency’ in her views on the virus before suddenly declaring that he was going home and leaving the studio.
“The next thing I knew there were firefighters all around me and the whole house was smoking. They actually broke the door down,” Jackie tells as the rest of the studio bursts into laughter
“Well, it escalated quickly,” a stunned Jackie said after Kyle left.
Executive producer Pedro Vitola then confirmed that Kyle had gone home.
Jackie continued, “What’s happening today? I’m telling you, this full moon is confusing people.”
She later revealed that Kyle apologized to her for the outburst and blamed it on the medication he was taking for a rotator cuff injury.
