Nigel, who becomes the show’s highest-paid ever contestant, landed at 9.45am on Sunday morning after a 20-hour flight from London and became the first confirmed housemate.
He was paid a whopping £1.5 million for his time in the jungle, where he is forced to undergo horrific bush trials where he is forced to eat pig testicles and deer blood.

When asked if he saw his colleague Matt Hancock in last year’s series, he replied: “Who didn’t?”
