This Morning’s sound engineer was forced to rescue Laura Hamilton when she was swept away by a river live on air during Tuesday’s episode.
During the hilarious scenes, the 41-year-old presenter joined a water park in Costa Adeje, Tenerife, where she discussed ITV’s latest competition.
After explaining what was at stake, Laura threw herself into the water on a rubber ring and quickly let herself be carried away.
Back in the studio, presenter Craig Doyle laughed: “The sound engineer is just watching the very expensive microphone go down the river.”
When she returned to Laura, she could be heard shouting, “I’m stuck,” as the sound engineer fished her out of the water with the long microphone handle.

However, fans at home were not impressed as they shared their thoughts on the segment on X.
One person wrote: “I honestly just muted it. Who knew this would be a good division for 10:44?”
