Jennifer Aniston “stumbles” after Matthew Perry’s sudden death

After the death of Matthew Perryof the Friends The cast mates are in mourning. But one of them, Jennifer Aniston, presumably was the one who suffered the most. “Of the remaining five, Jen and Courtney [Cox] “They’re recovering the most and Jen is probably struggling the most,” a source said. “It’s the second major loss in less than a year, coming close to the one-year anniversary of her father’s death,” the source continued. “She still hasn’t fully recovered and now this has completely destroyed her.”

Matthew, 54, who played Chandler Bing on the hit NBC comedy, died at age 54 on Oct. 28 from an apparent drowning in his Los Angeles home, though the official cause has yet to be determined. Jennifer, Courtney, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlancAND David Schwimmer they were left to mourn the death of their first cast member.

Jennifer’s father, soap opera legend John AnistonHe died at age 89 on November 11, 2022, leaving his actress daughter to deal with two deaths in less than a year. “You were one of the nicest people she ever met,” she wrote in a touching tribute on Instagram at the time. “I am very grateful that you ascended to heaven in peace and without pain. And none other than 11/11! You always had the perfect time. This number will have more and more meaning to me now. I will love you until the end of time. Be sure to visit.”

Although he did not address his death individually, Fools rush star, Jennifer released a joint statement with her survivors Friends co-star on October 30th. “We are all completely devastated by the loss of Matthew,” they wrote, in part, in a statement obtained by PEOPLE. “We were more than just co-stars. We are a family. “There is a lot to say, but now let’s take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.”

Matthew was buried in a private ceremony on Friday, November 3 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles, attended by the cast and their families.
