Abigail Breslin Pays Tribute to ‘My Sister’s Keeper’ Co-Star Evan Ellingson

Sofia Vasilieva, as she wrote about some of the fond memories she had of Evan, who died Monday at age 35. “Evan Ellingson was a kind, funny and extremely talented human being,” she began.

In addition to her touching performance, Abigail also shared her sweet memories of Evan behind the scenes. “He was also silly, funny, playful, a Red Bull lover,” she wrote, admitting that she wasn’t a Red Bull fan herself. “He was energetic and was the life of the party.”

Abigail admitted that she didn’t keep in touch with Evan, but she still thought of him fondly. “He has always been in my mind as a beautiful, sweet soul who I am grateful to have crossed paths with,” she wrote. “Evan, I know heaven will welcome you with open arms. His time on this earth may have been terribly short. Your humor, your exuberance, your kindness and your bright light will remain forever. Sending you peace on your journey to the afterlife and who knows…maybe one day I will meet you in Montana.”

Evan was found dead in his home in San Bernardino County. The cause of death was not released and police said they do not currently suspect foul play, according to a police report. TMZ.
