Kelly Bensimon Reveals How Jimmy Fallon Inspired Her to Make ‘RHUGT: RHONY Legacy’

Kelly Killoren Bensimon gave Jimmy Fallon I deserve credit for convincing her to do it The Ultimate Girls Journey from The Real Housewives: RHONY Legacy in an exclusive interview with HollywoodLife at BravoCon.

“It’s been funny because it’s actually because of Jimmy Fallon that I’m back on the show,” Kelly, 55, shared exclusively on Friday, Nov. 3. “I saw her wife and she was in Bridgehampton and Jimmy said, ‘Could you ever go back to Housewives?’ And I thought, ‘I don’t know.’ It depends on what happens. And he said, ‘No, no, no. You have to do it.’ Then I thought, ‘he’s right.’ I’ll just do it.”

Kelly explained that he received the call. RHONY: Legacy, which was originally in the works after Bravo decided to reboot the original franchise. “I thought, ‘Okay, let’s do it.’ We will have a lot of fun. And thanks to Jimmy’s initial conviction, Kelly happily accepted the offer to return to reality TV.

“When we were about to do the Ultimate Girls Trip, an intense seven-day trip, I thought, ‘Okay, play along. Let’s go,’” Kelly said. She also confirmed that she had a lot of fun doing the show and that he would “spend every day with these women. I love them.”
