Justin Timberlake is still haunted by his past behavior towards his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears.
On Thursday a The 2006 interview resurfacedin which he spoke anything but kindly about his former flame.

Elsewhere in the interview, published by an anonymous media outlet, he said of his ex: “I don’t know that person anymore. I’m not sure I knew her before.’
The interview was conducted by Robert Haskell, photos of the boy band singer were taken by Steven Klein. It is unclear which publication published the story.
This is the latest information to emerge in recent days as excerpts from Britney’s upcoming memoir go viral.

In an excerpt published by People, the singer recalled: “It was a surprise, but for me it was not a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected that one day we would start a family together. It was just going to happen a lot sooner than I expected.
“He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lifetime, we were way too young. I’m sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby.
“I don’t know if it was the right decision. If it was just me, I would never have done it. And yet Justin was so sure he didn’t want to be a father.’

Timberlake also had good things to say about Spears this year. In an interview with CBS, he said of her: “I want to see her win. I don’t think you can ever ignore someone like her. Because she may look a certain way, but she’s very smart.”
Since their split, the two superstars have developed a friendly bond.
In April 2020, Spears released a video of himself dancing to the Tennessee native’s song Filthy.
“I know that 20 years ago we had one of the biggest divisions in the world. But hey, the man is a genius! Good song, JT!’ She captioned the photos.
Justin responded with a series of emojis: a crying, laughing face and three raised hands emojis.
And in a February 2021 Instagram post, Timberlake apologized for his past behavior toward her after the documentary “Framing Britney Spears” aired his post-breakup interviews.
“I have seen the posts, tags, comments and concerns and would like to respond. “I deeply regret the times in my life when my actions contributed to the problem, when I stepped out of line or did not stand up for what was right,” he wrote.
Then, in June of this year, after Britney’s shocking announcement about her conservatorship, he sent a message of support and solidarity.

“After what we saw today, we should all be cheering for Britney now. No matter what past we’ve had, good or bad, or how long ago it was,” he wrote in a tweet.
“What’s happening to her is just not right. “No woman should ever be limited in her choices about her own body,” he continued. “No one should EVER be held against their will … or ever given consent asking to gain access to everything they’ve worked so hard for.”
“Jess and I send Britney our love and absolute support during this time. We hope the courts and her family make it right and let her live the way she wants,” he added in a third tweet, referring to his wife Jessica Biel, whom he married in 2012.

Their relationship ended in 2002, after which rumors arose that Britney had cheated on Timberlake… which she admitted in her memoir, in which she confirmed that she had kissed her choreographer Wade Robson.
