Sex and the City writer Candace Bushnell, 63, is ‘dating a 21-year-old model’

He is best known for writing a column for the newspaper Sex and the City, which spawned the famous HBO show and movie revolving around the dating scene in Manhattan.

And it turns out The love life of 63-year-old Candace Bushnell is as colorful as it is on page six, which the author is currently writing. He is dating a 21-year-old model.

“The original carrie Bradshaw” met the “dark, matted-eyed boy’s toy” at a spring fashion week show, and according to a source, “it has taken him everywhere ever since”.

While the name of her teenage boyfriend is currently unknown, Bushnell’s boyfriend has confirmed that he “talked” to her while she was being chased by another lover.

Bushnell’s other heart candidate is reportedly 91, but nothing else is known about him.

Bushnell had previously married 53-year-old New York Ballet director Charles Askegard, who was ten years her junior.

The two reportedly got married in 2002, just eight weeks after they met. They divorced in 2012.

Bushnell talked about the divorce fight in an interview: the guard explained: ‘When I got divorced, I couldn’t get a mortgage; I have not adapted it to a computer model. I was suddenly asked to stop doing certain things. Being single is hard, and there’s something heroic about it.

The reporter also dated Penthouse heir and Spin editor Bob Guccione Jr., 66, Senator Al D’Amato, 84, and model Michael Bergin, 53.

Perhaps most famously, Mr. Big, played by 67-year-old actor Chris Noth, is linked to powerful broadcaster Ron Galotti, who is said to be his inspiration.

Bushnell also admitted that he had gone on a date before. With 61-year-old John Corbett – the actor who plays Aidan, one of Carrie’s most serious love affairs on the show.

However, the 65-year-old actress revealed that she did not pursue the relationship as she had a simultaneous affair with Bo Derek that she was going to marry.

“You can’t compete with Bo Derek,” Bradshaw Boys told the 2020 podcast.

The writer’s new relationship came after he told People in December 2021 that he was “not dating”.

“I’m not in a relationship and it’s okay. I’m not saying I won’t in the future but the truth is that as you get older I think you don’t care that much,” she said.

After joining the New York Observer in 1993, Bushnell began writing her famous column, Sex and the City, in 1994.

The column was based on her and her friends’ dating experiences and was published in 1997. in an anthology of the same name.

It was later used as the basis for HBO’s hit show, which ran from 1998 to 2004, starring Carrie Bradshaw, a sex and lifestyle journalist, with Sarah Jessica Parker being Bushnell’s alter ego.

The series was later made into two film adaptations released in 2008 and 2010, as well as a sequel miniseries, And Just Like That… on HBO Max.
