Like bad luck: that’s what Elvis Presley’s ailing granddaughter needed to become a mother

The descendants of the great artist cannot expect an easy life.

Elvis’s heirs have an unenviable fate. His daughter died due to post-surgery complications and his grandson died randomly. Singer Riley Keough’s granddaughter was a little more lucky. She became an actress, but her life was overshadowed by an incurable disease.

The actress became a mother last year. But only recently did she reveal the secret of the birth of Elvis Tupelo’s great-granddaughter. The movie star was afraid of getting pregnant due to Lyme disease. This disease is manifested by high fever, chills and pain in the muscles and joints.

“I can have children, but it seemed to me that surrogacy is the best choice in my case,” the star explained.

Doctors did not interfere with the star patient in motherhood. But she herself decided not to take the risk because of the disease, which, if careless, can be transmitted to the fetus through the placenta.

The services of a famous surrogate mother came in handy. The star herself, in an interview with Vanity Fair magazine, was absent-minded in gratitude to women who help to become parents of those who for some reason cannot do it themselves.
