Tahlia Giumelli, model wife of NRL player Tom Burgess, had an awkward parenting moment when her baby used the F-word at a Sydney cafe on Tuesday.

The 29-year-old, who married the Rabbitohs star in January, revealed on Instagram that her two-year-old daughter, Sophie, had said “f**k it” twice in anger.

The first time her daughter used the F word, she was so taken aback that she thought she had misunderstood and asked Sophie to repeat the swear word again.

The grieving mother of two has posted a selfie of her confused reaction, revealing that she used the incident to educate her daughter about swearing.

“I’ve always been impressed with Sophie’s speech and language development,” Tahlia said.

But not when you decided to say ‘No mom, fuck it’ out loud in a bar this morning. When I asked him what he said, he said again, “I said fuck it mom”.

“This is because I was trying to control him, not pay attention to him,” she added.

“Luckily I managed to crush it with a chat about words we never use for now.”

This comes after Tom and Tahlia gave a joint interview to Stellar Magazine last month in which they discussed their latest “nonsense” wedding.

“When we got married, in front of our children, we committed ourselves to each other for our children. [and] He said: “There will be really good times and there will be less good times. But it doesn’t matter. We have each other,” Tahlia added.

Sophie and her one-year-old sister, Elodie, attended the ceremony, which she hopes her mother will remember fondly.

“Our girls may not understand now but they will look back and realize how special it was to be there and be a part of it,” Tahlia said.
