Emmerdale fans are predicting ‘exact details’ of villain Caleb’s death as he is left furious with his troublesome nanny son Nicky amid their vengeful revenge plot to take Kim Tate’s fortune.

Caleb Dingle cooked with his secret son Nicky Milligan as Tuesday’s episode of Emmerdale wrapped up.

Crooked nanny Nicky (Lewis Cope) left viewers stunned in recent episodes of the ITV soap as he and Caleb (Will Ash) conspire to take down businesswoman Kim Tate (Claire King) and turn her fortune into… to get hands on.

And soap fans have now predicted the exact reason why the couple’s revenge plan against Kim will fail as dramatic scenes unfolded this week.

After Nicky gets a job looking after the children at Kim’s home farm, she develops a shady relationship with Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) before he proposes to her to gain Kim’s trust.

But Nicky’s life becomes very complicated when, in Monday’s episode, he shares a passionate kiss with secret newbie boyfriend Ally (Josh Horrocks) before spending the night together, leaving Gabby in agony as she has no idea about her fiance didn’t have Hostel.

Nicky returned to Home Farm with his tail between his legs on Tuesday’s episode and insisted to Gabby that he was meeting an old friend for a drink, with the evening turning into a “little session” that saw him got too drunk to come home.

While Gabby quickly forgave Nicky and sent him to bed to sleep off his apparent hangover, his father Caleb was not impressed and assumed his son had slept with an unknown woman.

Nicky broke under the pressure of the allegations and admitted to Caleb that he had been unfaithful to Gabby, although he did not reveal that he was dating another man.

Shocked, an angry Caleb became even more hostile towards Nicky, lamenting that he jeopardized her plan for revenge.

Later in the episode, Gabby tried to take Nicky into the bedroom when the rest of his “hangover” wore off, but Nicky declined her offer and insisted they go to the bar for something to eat.

Caleb was angry again and scolded Caleb for not pleasing his fiancé.

Soon Nicky could be heard pleading with Caleb to turn his back on Home Farm as their twisted web of lies became too much.

And viewers are insisting that Nicky will soon come out as gay to his dad as he can no longer contain his feelings for Ally and keep their romance a secret, foiling their plot against Kim.

One person tweeted: “If Caleb’s plans fail, it will be because of Nicky’s erratic behavior. It is quite proper never to send a boy to do a man’s work.’

“The cracks were visible between Nicky and Caleb last night and Dad doesn’t know his son is gay…interesting. I can definitely see Nicky turning Caleb on,” another viewer predicted.

Someone else shared: “So Nicky is gay and has been hiding so well with his ‘love’ for Gabby but I have a feeling THIS could be his downfall if he gets caught with his real lover and I wonder if Caleb knows about it or not his sexuality.’

Another soap fan wrote: “Well Nicky is in a tough position to keep Grabby Gabby happy.”

Mystery newcomer Ally hit the town last week as Nicky planned his wedding to Gabby following his shock proposal earlier this month.

During last Thursday’s episode, however, it was immediately clear that Nicky and Ally were connected, with Nicky looking tense as Ally told Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy): “Oh, we go way back, don’t we, Nicky?” You won’t believe what we intend to do.”

And with soap fans theorizing about what Nicky and Ally’s relationship might be like, it seemed many of them were right, as as Monday’s episode wrapped, the pair were seen pulling their lips after exchanging heated words.

At the start of the episode, viewers watched as Nicky’s plan to steal a car from Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) unfolded, although things did not go according to plan.

Nicky teams up with his father, Caleb (Will Ash), who is also Cain’s brother, to plot revenge on Kim.

The couple, who have ties to Frank Tate, set out to destroy Kim and Home Farm and are taking steps to put their plot into action.

But Nicky made a risky move in Friday’s episode when he planned to steal the formidable Kain after the two clashed.

Nicky was seen in Cain’s garage on Monday trying to steal the vehicle in hopes of selling it and giving the money to Cain, to get his approval.

But Nicky was upset when Cain walked in and saw Nicky pissing him off as an altercation ensued.

Nicky was heartbroken after his father watched Caleb get attacked while escaping the garage, with Caleb showing almost no sympathy for his son as he was determined to carry out his plan to bring Kim down.

Caleb told Nicky to go home and lick his paws while he made sure his fiancee Gabby was happy.

However, Nicky had other plans and towards the end of the episode Ally was seen driving a yellow Mini on a remote country road.

Ally wanted an explanation from Nicky and asked him why he married Gabby when she was “not his type”, calling the engagement a “fraud”.

Nicky protested, insisting he was “not playing anything” before grabbing Ally and throwing her against the car before leaning in for a kiss.

While the dramatic scenes may have come as a surprise to some, many viewers had mixed feelings, with some taking to Twitter to insist they had already figured out what was going to happen between Nicky and Ally.

One person wrote: “Could tell Nicky from the start he was gay and I knew it was his boy,” while another joked: “Shocker Nicky is gay!”

While someone else joked: ‘Now we know why he really hates Gabby.’ Nicky is gay and has to sleep with her.’
