In scenes to air over the next few weeks, Lola (Danielle Harold) enjoys a day at the beach with Jay (Jamie Borthwick) as they make some final memories together.
On Tuesday, the actors filmed the emotional scenes as Lola, who is in a wheelchair, is taken to the beach by Jay.

Meanwhile, Ben Mitchell’s sanity will continue to sink to new depths when Lola drops the bomb after learning she has months to live.
In the last few episodes, Ben struggles with his ex’s prognosis, and in the next few scenes, he chooses to ignore his feelings by entering a boxing match.
After some unexpected news from the police, things get even worse for Ben as he continues to hide his emotions.
And after sharing her prediction with her father, Billy, Lola realizes she needs to get her house in order and tells Jay she wants him to adopt her daughter, Lexi.
It comes after Lola’s mother left the field dramatically as she struggled to cope with her own daughter’s prognosis.
She turns up at Jay and Lola’s house unexpectedly after turning down their offer to come over for a pamper night, only to announce that she does indeed have to leave town – just a day after finding out that Lola has only six months to live.
She sheepishly told the couple while Lexi slept in the next room: “I came to tell you that I have some news of my own.

An enraged Jay immediately saw through their lies and exclaimed, “And you clearly turned down the job offer?” You can’t just run away now!’
An equally furious Lola sarcastically replied, “Where are you going Beverly Hills?” Just when the going gets tough here, it seems too good to be true!
“I don’t know why I’m surprised. At least you didn’t run away without telling me this time. I may die, but at least I can live.
