They look like two peas in a pod.
Exactly 62 years ago, Yuri Gagarin’s flight into space took place, which turned science and the world as a whole upside down. 55 years have passed since the astronaut’s death. But it turns out that the wonderful pilot left behind not only two daughters, but also grandchildren who grew up a long time ago.
Now it’s hard to imagine that Gagarin died when he was only 34 years old. How many more discoveries and forays into orbit could he make if it had not been for the fateful flight in 1968.
The cosmonaut’s daughters are Elena and Galina. Both also have adult children, and the son of the youngest heiress bears the name of the illustrious grandfather.
Yuri Kondrachik trained as a journalist at Moscow State University, defended his doctorate, and then unexpectedly flew to the other side of Russia. Now Gagarin’s grandson holds the position of Deputy Executive Director for Trade, Quality and Service at Khabarovsk Airport.
The man does not communicate with journalists and does not manage social networks. However, it is known that his son is also growing up – the great-grandson of Yuri Gagarin, writes KP.
