In Paltrow’s viral court battle, her attorney read statements from Moses and her 18-year-old daughter Apple that supported her mother’s version of events during the 2016 collision with retired optometrist Terry Sanderson, 76.

Moses Martin’s testimony in court:

“I saw my mother and a person behind her who fell,” read his statement, which was also read by legal teams.

“I stood around there (and) realized it was my mother – when I drove over it, I heard my mother shouting at the man. She said something along the lines of “what the hell”.

“I think she was lying on the floor.”

When asked if his mother got up after the collision, Moses replied: “Yes, but not for now… two minutes.”

Moses added that his instructor, Eric Christiansen, was “not angry at all” and “didn’t shout”, as claimed earlier in the trial.

When Moses was asked why he remembered this, Moses replied: “Because I remember he handled the situation very calmly.

“He was trying to figure out what was going on and how he could help people … He was trying to get everyone out of the situation safely.”

The resort where she allegedly beat Sanderson “covered up her wrongdoing” because of her celebrity, the trial claimed.

Sanderson’s lawyers – who tried to sue Paltrow for $300,000 – accused Utah’s Deer Valley Resort of pandering to the actress because she was a “big spender” who gave her children $8,980 in ski lessons.

They claimed in court that the resort had a tongue-in-cheek acknowledgment of Mr. Sanderson’s beating and in an accident scene report said it was his fault.

The allegations were denied by a Deer Valley driver and the ski instructor who was first on the scene.

The retired optometrist claimed he suffered four broken ribs and a permanent brain injury that drastically changed his personality.

Moses, who was nine at the time of the incident, said he remembered seeing his mother on the ground “for a while” swearing at Mr Sanderson.
