Ford told 3AW Breakfast on Tuesday he was concerned Kennerley might have been “trapped” on the show – but insists she is smart enough to resist any attempt to make her look bad.
“I hope they don’t catch her as this nasty old rich woman,” he told the radio show.
“Remember, a few years ago there were incidents where some people took things as racist, and this year there are two black candidates running, so I hope it’s not set up,” he said. At.

While the star at first sight, Domenica Calarco, drew cards containing the slot combinations of cages of creepy creatures, Kerri-Anne was desperate to stay afloat.
The tank was soon filled with some special guests – some smooth snakes.
Kerri-Anne cried out in horror as the snakes wrapped themselves around her arms and even tried to crawl over her face.
She also had a chance to get a final 13th star on a baby crocodile.
However, the TV veteran squealed in shock when the animal was thrown into the tank and demanded it be released, ending the challenge with a healthy 12 stars.
