Buckingham Palace has announced major changes to Camille Parker-Bowles. Changes take place in May, after the coronation of Charles III.
Camilla first launched the Queen’s Reading Room. This is the name of her charitable organization. Before that it was called the ‘Reading Room of the Duchess of Cornwall’. Many have noticed that the new name lacks the “consort” prefix.
According to the Daily Mail, Charles III’s wife is now planning to officially name herself the “Queen.”
“There is a perception in the palace that being a queen consort is cumbersome, and maybe it would be easier for Camilla to just be known as a queen when the time comes. The reading room was a sign of that. After all, Her Majesty is the Queen,” the source said.
