Priscilla Presley is reportedly not talking to her granddaughter Riley Keough as they argue over Lisa Marie Presley’s will.
Lisa Marie, the only daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, died shockingly six weeks ago at the age of 54 after suffering cardiac arrest at home.
In a 2016 amendment to her will, Lisa Marie removed her mother as executor and named her two grown children, Riley and Benjamin Keough, as her sole heirs.
Benjamin died by suicide in 2020, leaving Riley as the sole heir, but Priscilla is now fighting the amendment that would remove her from the will entirely.
“Riley and Priscilla are not talking,” a friend of Lisa Marie told Page Six. “Their relationship is changing, it’s true … it’s just so sad.”

The source argued, “This is the time Riley really needs her grandma,” but ominously noted, “Riley is seeing a new side of her grandma.”
Meanwhile, a Graceland insider revealed: “Riley’s not looking for a war. She’s always had a good relationship with her grandmother. Lisa had issues with her mother, but … she didn’t drag [her kids] go inside [their] personal problems.’
Additionally, the source claimed that “Lisa would outlive her mother” and therefore “there shouldn’t be any fighting in the family over a trust that should always go to Riley and Benjamin.”
The insider wondered: “Why does Priscilla think she is best suited to run the business? ‘Why does she think she should take over?’
Priscilla will appear at the Oscars next month, where Austin Butler won best actor for an Elvis biopic.
The Graceland source hinted that Riley, who is an award-winning actress herself, is “unlikely” to attend the ceremony.
Lisa Marie received her father’s entire estate, including Graceland and $100 million, when she turned 25 in 1993, 16 years after Elvis’ death. However, she is said to have squandered much of the money in the intervening years.
Priscilla served as trustee of Lisa Marie’s estate until 2016, when she was removed by the amendment and replaced by Riley and Benjamin.
Now Priscilla is challenging the change, claiming in court documents that it was installed with an “invalid signature.”
Earlier this month, Priscilla asked the public to please “ignore the noise”. As I have always been there for the legacy of Elvis, our family and the fans, I will continue to move forward with respect, honesty, dignity, integrity and love.”
But last week, an Entertainment Tonight insider shared, “It’s been a very tense and heartbreaking couple of weeks for Riley and Priscilla.”
The source explained: “Riley is grieving the loss of her mother and is saddened to be involved in a trust dispute with a family member.”

Deal: “She’s sad that it’s become a public issue and knows her mom would never want it,” says a source of Riley, who is pictured with Lisa Marie in 2017.
Meanwhile, according to the insider, “Priscilla is adamant that she has a valid case and that she will prevail in court. Riley and Priscilla are not communicating at this time, but have been in contact through attorneys.”
The source added that while “Riley prefers to resolve this dispute privately,” both women are now “preparing” to take him to court.
“She is saddened that this has become a public matter and knows her mother would never want that to happen,” the source said of Riley, noting that Priscilla “remains convinced that old documents were forged.”
Riley, who has lost both her mother and brother in the last three years, is said to be “very stressed” but “trying to keep a positive attitude”.
