Ahead of the all-important guild awards (PGA, SAG, WGA), including Saturday’s often progressive DGA and Sunday’s BAFTA Awards, awards experts from PMC brands Deadline, Gold Derby and Indiewire engage in another slugfest over where they think the state is on the way. the Oscar race is on and whether they expect the weekend to shake things up.
Because membership in the Hollywood guilds and BAFTA has a lot of overlap with the Academy’s electoral body and tends to be the most reliable indicator of where the wind is really blowing.
