Shakira and Katy Perry Send Rihanna Love Before the Epic Super Bow Halftime Show

AS Rihanna Ready to take the stage at the Super Bowl halftime show on Feb. 12, powerhouse friends (and former halftime performers) like Shakira AND Katy Perry come forward to show their support! During the final hours before the show, the newly single singer, 46, took to Instagram to share a sweet message for RiRi. “Reminiscing about the good times and wishing you all the best vibes for tonight’s show,” he captioned alongside a sweet photo of the friends.

He ended the post with a heart emoji and several hashtags. The photo shows Shakira and the ‘Umbrella’ singer laughing as they embrace. She wore long blonde locks and a strappy dress, while Rihanna wore a sexy strapless black dress, short curly hair, and a heavy gold necklace. It’s worth noting that the pop sensation has already performed during Super Bowl 2020 alongside other stars. Jennifer Lopez.

Katy, who headlined the Super Bowl halftime show in 2015, also took to social media to share a similar message. “SPut an end to all love with you you got it right [Rihanna,]“, wrote the “Firework” singer along with the football and heart emojis via Twitter.

Many of Shakira’s 82.3 million followers took to the comment section to react to her sweet message. “We want a collab,” one fan wrote, while another commented, “OMG love you…QUEENS.” Others expected a surprise appearance. “Hope RiRi takes you on stage for ‘Can’t Remember to Forget You!!!'” said one fan.

Shakira and Rihanna have been good friends for a long time. After appearing together in the video for “Can’t Remember To Forget You” in 2014, Shakira said the sun on Sunday that they wrote to each other even though their schedules didn’t allow them to meet often in person. “She’s still the close, accessible and humble one,” Shakira said, via the Daily Mail. “We are friends and text each other, but our lives are in different geographic locations. She is a very busy woman and so am I.
