The couple spoke animatedly during a break in the ceremony, with Greg, 37, even biting his hand as they made each other laugh.
A source said: “They had a long chat and seemed to be catching up.”
Ellie, who presented the award for Best New Artist earlier in the evening, is now married to 31-year-old art dealer Caspar Jopling, with whom she shares 21-month-old son Arthur.
