Beyonce fans rush to get general release tickets for Renaissance 2023 World Tour as soon as they go on sale

Beyoncé fans are scrambling to get their hands on tickets for the singer’s Renaissance 2023 world tour as general release goes on sale Tuesday.

General ticket sales for the Halo singer’s UK dates went live on Ticketmaster and Live Nation at 10am – with thousands desperate for a chance to see Queen Bey on stage.

Beyoncé’s Renaissance 2023 world tour comes six years after her last one – the Formation World Tour – and will feature songs from her seventh studio album, which includes the hit ‘Break My Soul’.

Online waiting rooms were set up by Ticketmaster and Live Nation on Tuesday, and thousands were already lining up by 10 a.m. when tickets were made available.

Expressing their frustration, someone wrote: “Why are 369,000 people in line in front of me to get Beyoncé tickets? I literally went straight on 10′.

Another added: “There’s only 1,700 people ahead of me for Beyoncé tickets, I’m getting sick.”

A third agreed: “I’m currently waiting for Beyoncé tickets in London, Paris and Amsterdam. May the odds be in my favor forever.”

Hundreds of thousands of her fans lined up virtually to get pre-sale tickets last week, with as many as 400,000 queuing for tickets to one of her two London performances.

Ticket prices range from £56 for a single seat to £106, while VIP packages can range from £1,960 to a staggering £2,400.

The singer became the most awarded artist in Grammys history on Sunday night.

Beyonce won Best R&B Song, Best Dance/Electronic Recording, Best Dance/Electronic Album and Best Traditional R&B Performance for Renaissance.

The tour starts in Europe in May and ends in North America in September.

As with previous tours, Beyoncé will continue to make her mark offstage with BeyGOOD, the initiative she founded in 2013 to support people and programs around the world.

The world tour comes after Beyoncé returned to the stage last month with a smash performance in Dubai, her first concert in four years.

The musical icon took to the stage to celebrate the opening of the new luxury hotel Atlantis The Royal, which attracted a host of international stars.

Despite the event’s high profile, the hitmaker tried to deal with the public by banning recording and forcing attendees to lock their phones before the show.

The singer, 41, is touring her latest album Renaissance, which kicks off in Europe in May

Fans hoped that the long-awaited release of Renaissance meant a tour was on the horizon.

There is also an opportunity for some very special guests to join her.

When compiling the album, she enlisted the help of people like Drake, Pharrell Williams, The-Dream, Skrillex – and none other than her own husband, Jay-Z.

The dance-heavy album features 16 tracks, including the previously released single Break My Soul, which dropped last month.

The other 15 other songs are: I’m That Girl, Cozy, Alien Superstar, Cuff It, Energy, Church Girl, Plastic Off the Sofa, Virgo’s Groove, Move, Heated, Thique, All Up in Your Mind, America Has a Problem , Pure/Honey and Summer Renaissance.

There could be potential for more shows in the future, as Beyonce previously described the album as a “three-act project.”

In her note, she reiterated that the album’s creative process took three years and was worked on in detail during the pandemic, calling it a “time to be quiet, but also one that I found most creative.”

She continued, “Making this album gave me a place to dream and escape at a scary time for the world.

“It allowed me to feel free and adventurous at a time when little else was happening.

“My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgement, a place to be free from perfectionism and overthinking.

“A place to scream, to let go, to feel free. It was a beautiful journey of discovery.”

Renaissance debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 album chart, marking the best-selling week by a female artist that year and second best-selling of the year.

In the week ending Aug. 4, 332,000 equivalent album units were sold, Billboard reported, citing statistics from Luminate.

The album was the first by an artist to top the Billboard 200 that year, as the last artist to achieve the feat was Adele with her album 40 last December.

The record topped the charts for the first six weeks, from December 4, 2021 to January 8, 2022.

Renaissance is Beyonce’s first solo studio album since her landmark 2016 visual album Lemonade, in which she famously wrestled with the questions surrounding her marriage to Jay-Z and his fidelity.

Beyonce and Jay-Z have been married since 2008 and welcomed three children into the world: Blue Ivy (10) and the twins Sir and Rumi (5).

Beyonce has released four albums since Lemonade in 2016, though none of them were solo studio efforts.

In 2018, she dropped Everything Is Love with Jay-Z under the name The Carters.

In April 2019, she released Homecoming, an album that accompanied her 2018 headlining performance at Coachella.

She followed that summer with The Lion King: The Gift, a Disney film companion album featuring several new Beyonce songs (a deluxe edition of this album with three additional songs was released a year later).

Meanwhile, music executives are making a bold offer to take Beyoncé to the BRIT Awards later this month, MailOnline can reveal.

High-level talks have taken place between Sony music executives and the superstar’s team to attend the event on February 11 at London’s O2, where she is nominated for two gongs, including International Female Artist of the Year.

Beyoncé’s presence will be a boost to the awards show, where she is nominated in the International Song of the Year category for her single “Break My Soul.”

A music source revealed: “There was serious discussion at the top of the label about whether Beyoncé would perform live at the BRITs – it would be a huge coup for the world’s biggest superstar to attend the ceremony.

“Having previously attended The BRITs, she sees the event as a pivotal moment in the music calendar and a way to connect with her European fan base.

“It’s common for some of the bigger acts performing at the ceremony to be finalized days in advance, so a deal is still being negotiated that could go ahead.

“But there was a lot of pressure to get her to the ceremony and for her to perform would be the absolute dream scenario.”

A source added: “The schedule for the ceremony is locked. So if Beyoncé were to perform, there should be excitement, but it’s more likely that she’ll be there as a guest.”
