A man from Kyrgyzstan became the very first Russian-speaking participant in the MeleTOP show

Amirkhan Batabaev, known by the pseudonym Amirchik, was born into an ordinary working-class family in a small village near the city of Bishkek. From the age of three, he and his brothers began to seriously engage in music. Without the knowledge of music and the help of professionals, they learned to play musical instruments.

At the age of 15, Amirkhan has already started earning money in the business he loves most. He started a TikTok account where he simply posted acoustic covers of popular songs. The videos began to gain millions of views, his account quickly gained popularity, and offers for cooperation rained down on the young man. Already at the age of 17, he moved to Moscow to build a career.

Soon his own songs began to hit the charts of Shazam, Apple Music and VKontakte. Now the song “This Love” has appeared in all the charts of Southeast Asia, the CIS, even conquered China and still does not leave the playlists. And although the young artist sang the song in Malay and is preparing an English version for release, it has gained popularity in Russian. In Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore, they picked up “This Love” and started performing it in Russian, posting their versions on the internet.

But millions of views, hitting the popular charts and even a compliment from Philip Kirkorov was not enough for a talented man. He finally reached the world level and became the very first Russian-speaking hero of the main TV show in Southeast Asia – MeleTOP.
