Kanye West is under investigation for theft after taking a woman’s phone during filming: look

Kanye West, 45, is being investigated for theft after a viral video emerges showing him taking a woman’s phone and throwing it on the street. Ventura County Sheriff’s Department Sergeant Jason Carol confirmed the news in a statement Hollywood life Saturday 28 January.

“At 4:30 pm on Friday, January 27, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department was called to an intersection in Thousand Oaks, California. When they arrived, they learned that Kanye ‘Ye’ West had grabbed a woman’s cell phone and thrown it on the street,” the statement read. “It was not there when we arrived. Mr. West is being investigated with the robbery charge. There is an ongoing investigation into this matter. Officers have received video footage of the incident.” Karol also dismissed reports that the rapper was being investigated for “assault and battery.”

The video (above) begins with Kanye walking to the driver’s side of a car where the unidentified woman is filming him with a cell phone. As he approaches, Kanye says, “If I want to see my son at a game, don’t get run over like that. If I say enough, stop your cameras”. In particular, the accident occurred near a sports complex where two of Kanye’s children lived, the daughter North9, and son Holy7 play basketball by tmz extension. After the woman in the car replies, “I know, but Kanye you’re a celebrity,” the “Gold Digger” hitmaker quickly grabs her phone and tosses it into the street. She then calmly returns to her truck.

After news of the incident began to spread, Kanye’s ex Kim Kardashianwith whom he shares Norte y Santo, as well as his daughter Chicago, 4, and son Psalm3, was interrogated outside his son’s basketball court on Friday, according to video obtained from page six. Kim replied, “Don’t tell me about it in front of my kids,” according to the source. The photographer who asked the question reportedly apologized to the reality star as one of the children, whose name has not been identified, can be heard pleading in the background, “Please come out.”

It’s also worth noting that Kim was watching the basketball game with her younger sister, by Khloe Kardashianformer Tristan Thompson, who became close friends with the KarJenner clan. Kim, Khloe and their mother kris jenner they all flew to Toronto a few weeks ago to attend the funeral of Tristan’s mother, who died suddenly of a heart attack.

Kanye and Kim split in 2021, with Kim filing for divorce after six years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The couple will have joint custody with “equal access” to their 4 children, while Kim will receive $200,000 a month in child support. Meanwhile, Kanye has moved on with a new wife, while Kim continues to play the field after breaking up with pete davidson.
