Almost 33 years have passed since the premiere of the film “Ghost”, and so far not a single worthy director has even thought about recreating a successful picture. The original movie starring the famous Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore, backed by Whoopi Goldberg, is still watched in the same breath.
Suddenly, Channing Tatum, whose company owns the rights to the 1990 painting, stepped into the game.
The actor plans to thoroughly recreate the cult film and release a remake. It is possible that Tatum himself will play the title role.
“We are working on a remake of Ghost. But we will change something in the plot, because there are a lot of problematic stereotypes in the original movie,” the actor shared with Vanityfair.
