Sound & Screen, Deadline’s inaugural live concert featuring songwriters, music directors and music composers for some of the biggest TV shows, formed the band on May 5 at UCLA’s Royce Hall for their personal event.
An orchestra of 50 members will be free at the evening, performing pieces from 12 series in the foreground, followed by speakers who will talk about their work. Among them are some of the biggest names in music, from the Rolling Stones icon, Mick Jagger’s virtual game for Apple TV +. slow horses In a personal conversation with songwriters Daniel Pemberton, Amanda Jones, Sean Kahler, Nico Muhlis, Jeff Rousseau and Dan Romer; songwriter and composer Tom Meyer and Curtis Moore; And music director Jen Malone.
The composition includes Amazon Studios Incredible Mrs. Miesel; AppleTV + Pachinko, slow horses Y more party; HBO / HBOMax Euphoria, station eleven, someone somewhere Y Show sketch of black lady; CBS Studios Star Trek: Picard Y The man who fell to the ground; National Geographic welcome to earth and fundamental + aura.
Sound & Screen is co-hosted by Peter White, chief editor of Deadline’s Television, and Anthony D’Alessandro, chief editor of the Crew Call podcast.
