A major British boy band star appears completely unrecognizable in an unearthed video shared by the singer’s proud mother on Monday.
Fans doubled over when they saw the award winner transform into a very glamorous woman named Veronica after spending hours doing her hair and makeup.
The video was behind-the-scenes footage from 2013, in which the band was filmed behind the scenes of a music video for one of their biggest hits.

The entertaining clip featured Zayn Malik as “Veronica” for Best Song Ever and was re-shared by his mother after it was posted on a fansite.
The 29-year-old singer faded all his tattoos, wore a long dark brown wig and covered his face in make-up.

It comes as Zayn made a musical comeback late last year when he released a cover of Jimi Hendrix’s posthumous 1971 song Angel to celebrate the late guitar legend’s 80th birthday.

And it could be a busy 2023 for Zayn, who according to Variety has landed his feature debut in the animated film 10 Lives.
The singer-songwriter has joined a cast that includes Bridgerton actress Simone Ashley and three-time BAFTA winner Mo Gilligan.
Derry Girl star Dylan Llewellyn and Hotel Rwanda’s Sophie Okonedo will also voice characters in the new film.
Variety describes 10 Lives as the story of a “spoiled and selfish cat” who gets a tenth life after wasting her first nine.
